Teaching

My courses are discussion-based, and I put the U.S. case in comparative perspective rather than treating it as the default. I bring social and political theory into direct conversation with historical and empirical findings, aiming for students to discover how each can sharpen the other. My syllabi often draw on political science, economics, and anthropology alongside sociology, reflecting on how the same issues are tackled in different ways depending on the disciplinary and methodological lens we adopt.
